Russian Mosin Nagant
The Mosin-Nagant rifle was adopted by Russia in 1891 . The rifle measures 51 1/4 inches long. It fires the 7.62x54 cartridge. This rifle is dated 1921. It was made at the Tula Russian arsenal. It is also marked PCFCP - this is the Cyrillic initials for R.S.F.S.R. or Russian Soviet Federal Socialist Republic (this is what the U.S.S.R. was called prior to 1922).
This particular rifle I own has been stamped U.R.R.S. I found out this was a Spanish export mark. This particular rifle was one of many used during the Spanish Civil War.
