Russian Mosin Nagant

These pictures are of a standard round receiver model 91/30. This is an updated rifle based on the model 1891 rifle. These updates included changes in the sites, the barrel bands, and the receiver. The 91/30 is also shorter than the Model 1891. It measures 48 1/2 inches long. It still fires the 7.62x54 cartridge. This particular rifle was manufactured in 1937 at the Tula Russian arsenal.
